The first is an example manufactured in November 1942 by Deutsche Linoleum-Werke A.G., Bieetigheim, Kr. Ludwigsburg who were assigned the code a g d. It is clearly evident that this set has been carried using the prohibited method.

The second example dates from May 1944 and was manufactured by S & D who have not used or perhaps not been issued a three digit code. The brown paper used in the construction is a subtle later war characteristic which some manufactures started to use by this point.
